GENERAL INFORMATION

"•The rules and regulations at J.M.I. Public School are designed to create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn about Islam and develop their Islamic faith. The rules also help to ensure that students are behaving in a respectful and responsible manner, both inside and outside of the school.

OUR GENERAL RULES ADN REGULATIONS ARE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING AREAS

DISCIPLINE

• Discipline is a part of education. Students have to behave in the prescribed manner of rules and regulations, framed in the interest of both students and the institution. 1. All the students should be disciplined and attentive. They should complete the class work and home work (written as well as oral given for learning etc.) 2. Students are expected to reach school before the bell rings for assembly. 3. Neat & clean school uniform must be worn to come to school. 4. They should maintain a strict discipline everywhere in the school while coming to morning assembly or going back to their classes or in handling any other assignment given to him/her by the teacher or the principal. 5. Every student should be careful in throwing waste papers, fruits peels etc. in the dustbins only. 6. They should take care of the school property and see that no damage is done in the school compound etc. 7. Their behaviour in the school, at home or outside should be courteous. They should be polite in their talks among themselves, to the elders or the visitors at home or anywhere else. 8. Running and shouting inside the school area is forbidden. 9. Each pupil is responsible for his/her own things. They are advised to take care of their belongings.

SCHOOL REGULATIONS

• Student are not allowed to go home during school hours. In case a student has special engagement or a medical appointment during class hours the student must remain absent for the day.

• Parents are requested to ensure that their child takes his/her work seriously and maintains satisfactory progress. They are requested to creat suitable work environment at home and render all possible assistance needed by the child.  Parents are requested not to meet the teachers during class hours. If it is necessary, a written permission must be obtained from the principal.  Responsibility of sending the students to school in time and taking them back after the school hours rests entirely on the guardians. The responsibility of the school authorities ceases immediately after the school closes.  The school can do its best to your ward only with your help and co-operation.  It is our hope that the school diary is looked into by you and your eye kept on the performance and he progress made by your ward.  Finally, if you could tell the subject teacher in the school, from time to time, how you think your ward would benefit most and if you could also tell your ward from time to time what the school expects from him/her you would become an invaluable link between the school and education of your ward. Parent-teacher meetings provide an excellent platform for interaction of his nature, so does the school diary.  We always take care to protect children from accidents while playing However, in the event of any mishap the school does not accept legal responsibility. First aid will be given and parents will be informed.  The school does not hold any responsibility of the losses of books, stationery, money or other precious item brought by the child. No valuable articles should be brought to the school.

LEAVE RULES

1. Application for leave of absence from the school should be submitted in advance except in case of emergency.

2. Student absent without prior permission must report to the principal on his/her return to school.

3. Request for leave on medical grounds must be supported by Registered Medical Practitioner's Certificate.
